ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Access control system installation and implementation including low voltage cabling, electronic door hardware and installation of system head end.
IP camera system installation specializing in enterprise applications, including installation and configuration of IP cameras and other related systems.

Fiber Technician
Fiber Solutions is seeking a fiber technician with at least 3 years of experience with fusion splicing Fiber and OTDR testing in the field. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability to read OTDR reports and know what action to take. The interview will include reading OTDR traces.
The position requires a flexible work schedule, involving nights and weekends. Travel could also be a possibility. The position is full-time with benefits.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to midspan various types of fiber from 6ct to 288ct fibers in a live hot cut environment.
- Ability to properly prep fiber and install a variety of underground splice enclosures, enter existing enclosures with precision.
- Perform cable installation, construction, maintenance, and repair works.
- Possess knowledge in all types of splicing activity, cable and safety test equipment and use of all types of cable construction equipment.
- Locate and repair cables faults to maintain existing cable network without causing signal failure interruptions.
- Validate and test end-to-end service provisioning for the cable network.
- Review site surveys, condition discrepancy reports, design drawings, technical manuals for cable installation feasibility.
- Must be able to clearly see color and shading in plans and materials.
- Must have vision to allow differences in colors, shades and brightness.
- Must have flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business.
- Must be able to work in different temperatures and changing weather conditions.
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Install, test and document cabling.
- Understand material and labor management (est. v. actual)
- Proficient with various types of fiber optic fusion splicing and unicam terminations
- Ability to read and create splice allocation charts.
- Field troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Previous experience with OSP underground and intra building industry standards.
- Must be able to lift and move 50 or more pounds.
- Installation and repair of various pull boxes, tracer cables and all forms of underground conduit
- Build out projects to required specifications.
- Reading blueprints
- Fire-stop various types of cable penetrations.
- Work with customer contacts on projects and work orders, as needed.
- Coordinate projects with end-users and vendors when required.
- Ability to do field estimations accurately and relay that information to our engineering staff.
- Report project scope changes, issues or questions
- Ability to lead a team as needed.

Project Manager
Fiber Solutions is seeking a Project Manager with at least 3 years of experience overseeing multiple projects. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability to plan, organize, direct and control all activities which achieve the effective project management of installations and managed services work.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, test and document cabling.
- Creates formal, rigorous, detailed and actionable written Project Plans prior to all deployments using Scope Documents, Project Budgets, Labor Tasking and Scheduling Information.
- Applies the Project Plan throughout the deployment to constantly measure “Budget to Actual” on a day-by-day real time basis. Proactively makes course corrections and “shifts on the fly” as needed to stay on or ahead of budget regarding time, dollars, and people.
- Maintains regular communication with all Customers consistent with the Job Scope, Start Dates, Milestone Dates, Completion Dates, Work Site Rules, Contract Requirements, Safety Programs, Monthly Billings, Change Orders, Test-Results, As-Builts and Final Close Out Forms.
- The Project Manager runs safe, neat, tight and tidy jobsite work areas.
- Of primary importance to the Project Manager is keeping the client constantly abreast of all Project related activities.
- Instructs when materials and equipment are appropriately ordered by Purchasing relative to the start date and project schedule.
- Regularly updates the Operations Manager as to progress, obstacles, man hours and materials budget performance of assigned projects. Wherever and whenever possible,
- Conducts appropriate field training and enforces the company’s safety requirements.
- Verifies jobsite material deliveries and maintains accurate on-site inventories.
